Hi Busy Bee,
Another month for the record books! This month was all about transitions. Transitions are about that time period in life where you have outgrown one element of your life and though you can see the next step, you are not there just yet. You are totally transitioning in so many areas this month. You are no longer stationary, but not completely crawling yet. You are not eating solids, but very interested. You are not saying words we understand, but you totally are having full conversations with us. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time. I get to teach you so many things and get to witness the excitement of accomplishment when you succeed at something. Mommy and Daddy spend so much of our evenings staring at you as you explore. Watching you grow into a busy little girl from a calm tiny baby makes me realize just how fast this time with you as a baby is going. You make me appreciate life, time, and God so much more. I realize that I too am transitioning from being a “new mom” to a “mom”. It makes my heart flutter. Here’s to another exciting month coming up. Below are a couple of moments that we were able to capture during this month:
Other things we noticed this month:
-You are still teething, but no munchers just yet!
-You are mobile! You are rolling, scooting, and dragging yourself everywhere. You even have been practicing standing, so much to the point we have had to take you out of your bassinet and start transitioning you to a crib.
-You said “DADA” (March 30th)! It was so exciting!!!! Now you wont stop saying it…which is fine with me and Daddy. We love hearing you talk even if it is just babbling.
-You are not very fond when Mama says “No”.
You love:
-Reading! Anytime I sit down with a book you immediately start squealing. We have started going to story time at our local library and you are a big fan.
-Playing peek-a-boo
-Your lovey (pink silky elephant).
You could pass on:
-Solids. We tried food this month and it was not something of interest to you. But we are in no rush…all in your time.
